Gerry Dunne qualified as a solicitor in 1988, having
attended University College Dublin and the Law Society
Blackhall Place. He practiced as a solicitor both in private
practice and also as an in house solicitor for a leading
insurance company.

The experience which Gerry brings to O’Brien Dunne
covers a wide range of areas, including personal injury,
employment law, family law, conveyancing, probate
and wills.

Gerry is actively involved in the world of sport, in particular
athletics, both in participation and also in administration.
He is a member of the Board of Management of the local
primary school which his children attend.

Gerry is a member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.

John P. O’Brien BCL

Partner

John qualified as a solicitor in 1982 having studied Law at
University College Dublin (BCL). John then spent several
years with two leading Dublin practices and also worked as
an in-house solicitor for one of Ireland’s leading insurance
companies, where he gained extensive experience and
hands-on knowledge of the insurance industry.

In addition to providing a general legal service to his Clients,
John has wide ranging experience in litigation matters, in
particular personal injury defence litigation, which he puts to
full use in the O’Brien Dunne practice.

John is a member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.
In his spare time, he likes to jog (slowly), play golf
(reasonably) and surf (poorly).
